There are many reasons people fail in business.
Lack of skill
Lack of support
No Mentor
Wrong niche
Wrong opportunity
Wrong company
Poor pay
Lack of motivation
Lack of leads
Fear
Uncoachable/Untrainable
Afraid what other people think
Although there are many reasons people may fail, it usually comes down to one thing. YOU.
I know from my past experience in the network marketing industry, most people do not make it because of fear, which is amplified by the person’s lack of motivation.
People are so afraid of what people will think of them (namely their friends and family) and they are afraid of rejection or unconformity. If you don’t care what people will think and you aren’t afraid of rejection, you have a greater chance of being successful in this unconventional business.
Fear paralyzes people. And lack of TRUE motivation keeps them from doing anything about it.
True motivation exists when you are dissatisfied with the way things are and you believe this business is the only thing that can solve your problem.
True motivation exists when you can’t stand to live one more day without abundance.
True motivation exists when you want what this business to work so bad you won’t sleep until you make it happen.
Looking at the landscape of internet marketing as a whole, outside of network marketing, it requires a solid level of understanding of the internet, understanding what people are looking for, the ability to identify supply/demand as well as niches, and understanding advertising and basic accounting principles like cost per sale and net revenues.
Understanding these principles are the beginning of your successful career in internet marketing. But, you must know what you are up against. Chances are, you don’t have what it takes to be successful. Your life isn’t that bad now, why should you go through all this trouble?
